Marla Bernier Garrison

Marla lived in the Bronx until 1981, 29 years she was there with her husband Robert and 2 daughters Rebecca and Christine.  In 1981 they all moved to San Jose where she joined the Cambrian school staff as an instructional aid for the first grade.  When Cambrian shut down, she moved to Fammatre, continuing her passion for working with 1st graders, she loved seeing how much they progressed during each year.   Ida Price middle school was her next step where she ultimately became the Librarian.  She moved to Los banos in 2003 to her new home, and lived there until her passing.  She is survived by her husband Dan, daughters Rebecca, Arwen, Christine, Galadriel, mother Sarah, and sisters Diana and Deborah.
